WhatsApp messages are sent through Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API. You create message templates in Meta Business Manager, get them approved, then connect them to the plugin using your Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and Access Token.
Yes. The plugin requires explicit phone consent from customers at checkout. No messages are sent without opt-in. Customers can unsubscribe from all recovery channels at any time.
